Educational visits

International courses at the University of Santiago de Compostela

The International Courses Department of Santiago University organizes twice a year (May and October) a 3-week course on Spanish language combined with seminars on the Camino. In the first two weeks participants improve their Spanish, taking classes at the University and looking at a range of aspects related to the pilgrimage. In the last week they experience what it is to be a pilgrim - walking the final section of the Camino Francés, accompanied by a professor.

Academia Iria Flavia

Academia Iria Flavia is a school of Spanish for foreign students, accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, which has been working in Santiago de Compostela since 1994. Their programme Spanish in the Pilgrims' Way to Santiago is a 6-day itinerant course aimed to students
with some previous knowledge of the language. It takes place along the final stretch of the Camino, from O Cebreiro to Santiago de Compostela.
