How can you stay up to date with the latest news and travel information?

The situation with Covid-19 and the Camino is ever changing. It can be difficult to stay on top of all the latest developments and updates. Here are some places that we recommend checking every once in a while:

  • - for the official government advice about travel from the UK.
  • Camino Pilgrim Facebook Group - for daily updates from Santiago as to the situation in Spain, among other topics
  • Weekly CSJ Virtual Coffee mornings - every Thursday at 11am you can sign on to a Zoom call with other pilgrims as well as CSJ trustees who will give an update about the latest news from the Camino authorities. Email us or message us through our CSJ UK Facebook page for the link.
  • The creator of the Camino de Santiago online forum, Ivar Revke, has started up his own video series on YouTube where he gives a video update every few days as to any developments on the Camino. You can watch them here.
  • For information about the routes in France, go to the website of Jacques Clouteau, the publisher of the Miam Miam Dodo guides. Click on the yellow strip “Attention : pèlerinages 2020” and you will find a (provisional) update of facilities post-COVID, to be consulted in conjunction with the last Miam Miam Dodo guide for that route. Scroll down through Camino Francés, Le Puy route, Arles route, Vézelay route, etc.
