The collaborative project to develop St James' Way, a Camino in England from St James' Church Reading to God's House Tower in Southampton, before continuing along the Camino Inglés from A Coruna, has prompted the introduction of pilgrim stamps at a growing number of pubs along the route.  Project coordinator David Sinclair has been to visit several pubs in Berkshire and Hampshire, many of whom have had pilgrim stamps designed for them so that passing pilgrims can document their journey in their credencial!  Additionally, some of the pubs have generously agreed to give discounts on food and drink to anyone showing a pilgrim passport!
