This guide covers one of the least well known camino routes in Spain, from Alicante on Spain's east coast through north-west Spain to Benavente. The route is about 800 km in length and includes the major cities of Albacete, Toledo, Ávila and Benavente. The Camino del Sureste can be divided into four parts, each of which include a major city and takes approximately a week to walk.
