The CSJ General Fund is for carrying out our over-arching mission of providing information, advice and reassurance to pilgrims before they set off on their camino as well as a community of like-minded people in the UK.

Did the CSJ help you in some way before you went away? Or when you came back? What did the camino do for you?

We believe that everyone can find happiness, health, adventure and peace on the camino. And we want to bring it to as many people as we can. With your help, we can help them get there. As well as be a friendly, understanding "confraternity" of people to come back to and connect with.

The General Fund goes towards things such as:

- the upkeep of the London office, from which come almost all organisational communications and operations

- staff salaries and volunteer expenses

- maintaining our informative website

- funding our external marketing to bring ourselves to as wide an audience as possible

- funding our bookshop and library

- organising our programme of events around the country including Practical Pilgrim Days, lectures and our Annual Day

- providing support to academic conferences and centres for pilgrim studies
