One of the CSJ's greatest assets is its extensive pilgrim library.

We have hundreds of titles on pilgrimage, be they journals, texts, novels, CDs, DVDs, or pamphlets.  This collection has been carefully curated for over three decades and continues to be looked after by our current librarian, Margaret Simonot. We also house the library of the Confraternity of Pilgrims to Rome - our sister organisation that promotes the Via Francigena pilgrimage from Canterbury to St Peter's Square.

Anyone is welcome to peruse the library on our office open days, every Thursday between 11am and 3:30pm. If you would like to come outside of these times, please email the office to make an appointment.

If you are a member of the CSJ, you are able to borrow any titles from the library for up to 3 weeks. If you don't live close to London, don't worry - we can send things to you. Just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
