Library One of the CSJ’s greatest assets is the Stephen Badger Library of Pilgrimage (named after a previous Librarian, (1940-1997). The name indicates that it deals not just with the Pilgrimage to Santiago but with Pilgrimage in general, including to Rome, Jerusalem and many destinations in Britain and beyond. The CSJ Library used also to house that of the Confraternity of Pilgrims to Rome, but that has now been returned to the CPR (www.pilgrimstorome.org.uk), though their books are still listed in the CSJ catalogue. We have about 8,000 items concerning pilgrimage: books, pamphlets, periodicals, maps and audiovisual materials. The current Librarian is William Griffiths. To access our search catalogue, click here.
