About us Where we are Where we work Our Office CSJ HQ! Our office, bookshop and library are based in Christ Church Southwark in Central London, an easy walk from Waterloo and Blackfriars rail stations. Christ Church Southwark, home to the CSJ-UK office in London Opening times Our Open Days are held every Thursday from 11am - 3:30pm and on occasional Saturdays. This is when CSJ volunteers are available to answer pilgrims' questions, show you the bookshop, and process pilgrim passport and membership applications. Check out our Events Page for forthcoming dates. There is sometimes a member of staff in the office on other days of the week, but it's best to book an appointment in advance to make sure! Directions We are inside Christ Church, equidistant between Blackfriars Bridge and Southwark tube station. When looking at the front of the church, head down the right hand (North) side of the building until you come to our door. The British Pilgrimage Trust - who have been doing amazing work reviving pilgrimage in the UK as a form of spiritual and eco-friendly tourism! Other Institutions Oxford Pilgrim Studies Network - who put together a conference in 2019 on Pilgrimage and the Senses, which the CSJ was involved with. Young Star Mentoring - a charity who mentor and coach young people who have recently left care. Each year they take a group on the camino as a means of teaching them leadership, teamwork, self-worth and respect. UK Cathedrals Trust - who in 2020 celebrate the year of pilgrimage!
