Changes to Royal Mail Deliveries On 28 July 2025, Ofcom made changes to the postal Universal Service. The key change will be that Second Class letters will be delivered every other weekday (Monday to Friday). First Class letters will still be delivered six days a week (Monday to Saturday). This is a significant operational change, spanning 1,200 delivery offices. As a result, Royal Mail are aiming to implement it on a phased basis nationwide over the next 5-6 months and some CSJ orders may be affected. We advise pilgrims to order items First Class if urgently required, or to allow adequate timing for Second Class delivery.
