The CSJ Choir have been singing traditional Camino music for many years.  It was founded by one of the CSJ's founding members, Dr Mary Remnant, who passed away in 2020.  Mary was a respected authority in medieval and pilgrim music, organising recitals at prestigious venues such as Oxford University, the Spanish Embassy and even 11 Downing Street!

Since then, the choir, spread across the country, continues to get together a few times a year to sing and socialise.  They still use the traditional music arranged by Mary Remnant, as well as more recent material inspired by the Camino and its history.

Below is a video of a performance they gave at Christ Church, Blackfriars Road, London, for St James's Day on 25th July in the Holy Year of 2021.  Conductor and pianist, Joe Skivington led a brilliant workshop in the morning, culminating in a recital of a selection of Remnant's music as well as excerpts from a Cantata entitled 'Pilgrimage' composed by former CSJ trustee, John Read.  This is a clip of one of the Cantata pieces.
