CSJ Members' “Spirit of a Holy Year” Photography Competition

Members of the CSJ are invited to submit photos which they have taken since 1^st January 2018 and best convey the “Spirit of a Holy Year”.

There are five categories:

1.To be a pilgrim
2. Along the Way
3. Friendship
4. Hospitality
5. Santiago – City of Pilgrimage

How to enter:

Members may submit up to 3 images in each category, with a maximum of 10 entries overall.

There is no entry fee.

The closing date for receipt of entries is 30^th November 2022.

Entries should be submitted as jpeg files.

The maximum image size should be 1920x1200 and files should not exceed 2MB.

Files should be named as follows:
Category number, title, entrant’s name – e.g.: 3.Revelation.BloggsJ

Files should be attached to one or more emails entitled ‘CSJ Photo Comp’ addressed to: [email protected]
The email(s) should include confirmation of authorship, age (if under 18 on 1^st November 2022), permission to use as indicated below and CSJ membership. To ensure images are sent and received as intended, the email(s) should include a list of the titles of the images attached to the email.

Prizes:

1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd will be awarded overall regardless of category and the winning images in each category not already recognised will also receive a prize.
There will also be a prize for an image submitted by a member under 18 years old on 1^st November 2022.

The Exhibition

The winning images as well as other ‘commended’ images will be included in an Audio-Visual presentation created by the CSJ to be shown at the AGM in 2023 and on other appropriate occasions.

The winning images and other ‘commended’ images will also be reproduced as prints for exhibition at the AGM.

The CSJ reserves the right to use free of charge any submitted images for publicity purposes and to promote the work of the CSJ, including in the Bulletin, in CSJ guidebooks, and on the website.  However, copyright will remain with the author.

Submission of images is dependent on acceptance of these conditions.
