Dear CSJ colleagues and members,

This is to let you know that as of 13 May I have stepped down as Chair and Trustee of the CSJ.  I have been a Trustee for 9 years and Chair for 2 and feel that now is the right time to make way for my successor.  During my time as a member (over 20 years) I’ve been privileged to be part of the CSJ’s growth into today’s multi-faceted organisation. I can think of the development of our web-based services, the creation of our many regional groups, and the huge work that has gone into our UK Caminos which are proving so popular, as well as arguably the backbone of the CSJ, namely our dedication to serving the needs of the pilgrim community all over the world.

I’m delighted to announce that Sue Sargeant has agreed to be your new Chair.  Sue has been a Trustee since 2021 and, as a regular volunteer herself, has been particularly effective in supporting our General Manager and our cadre of Office Volunteers.  I am also very pleased to confirm that Priscilla White who has tremendous experience of all our work will continue as Vice-Chair to support Sue in her new role.  I hope you will join me in wishing Sue all success as your new Chair.

Best wishes   Robin Dorkings
