The five of us met outside the church of St James Twickenham at midday, faces covered.  We sang a pilgrim song before setting off along the river in glorious weather. After investigating the Greek Statuary, we embarked upon the foot ferry to take us across the Thames, where we would continue towards Ham and the tiny church of St Thomas Aquinas.  We paid a visit to The New Inn – the first time any of us had been inside a pub for months – and raised a glass to Marion who was a dear friend to all of us.  We look forward to being able to organise bigger walks in future years, where more of us can celebrate her life and all she did for the CSJ.
