August 2023 update:

Some Cambs members are regularly joining walks and Zoom chats organised by our colleagues in the CSJ Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex group as we are close East Anglian neighbours! Locally we are planning a Cambridge city walk and meal for October 2023 and we welcome all comers to discover pilgrimage links and share Camino experiences. In 2023 there are some 30 members of CSJ in Cambridgeshire, some long-standing and some very new. Recent activities have included the following events:

Small group walks with a connection to St James in Cambs e.g. Ely to Stretham and back, Lode and Waterbeach,

City/town walks with as much 'pilgrimage' theme as possible.

Some of the walks are organised by our CSJ colleagues in the Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex branch, e.g. walks around Ely, Royston, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Colchester and Kings Lynn, joining Andy Bull on the Walsingham Camino csj.org.uk/shop/london-to-walsingham-camino-by-andy-bull

For October 2023 we plan to organise a Cambridge city 'pilgrimage' walk and refreshments.  We welcome CSJ colleagues from anywhere and can help with information about transport and accommodation. Details to follow!
