Group leaders: Wendy and Charles Mason-Smithdevon and cornwall regional group leaders on the pyrenees

The Devon and Cornwall Regional Group came into being following a discussion between John Read and Wendy Mason-
Smith at the Practical Pilgrim Day in Manchester, in early 2019. Flying high following her walk along the Camino Frances in May/June 2019, Wendy was keen to meet other camino enthusiasts, and to see what could be done to enhance the fellowship of CSJ members in Devon and Cornwall.

Last year saw us join up for several enjoyable walks, including on Dartmoor, and our Christmas lunch was a very jolly affair!

Our aim this year is to develop our local programme to include events other than walks, and especially those that explore the spiritual aspects of pilgrimage. Of course our plans for 2020 are now on hold, but we will resume them as soon as possible.

In the meantime we are keeping in touch via a group email, sharing our thoughts as well as interesting articles, poems, writings and so on. We have no doubt that once we are able to see each other again, our group will go from strength to strength.
